Terms of Use
Effective October 16, 2026
These terms cover your use of What's In My Pantry, which is run by CHIZZY LLC, a Utah company. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Use the app for personal, lawful purposes. Don't try to break, overload or misuse it, or access other people's data.
- Anyone you invite to your household can see and change your shared pantry, lists and plans.
Your content
What you add (pantry items, lists, plans, notes) stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you and your household. You can download it or delete it at any time.
Recipes, dates and food safety
- Recipes come from third parties (Spoonacular, TheMealDB and websites you import from). We don't check them for accuracy, allergens or nutrition.
- Expiry dates, freezer times and "use soon" alerts are general estimates, not food safety guarantees. Always check food before eating it and follow official food safety guidance, especially for meat, fish, eggs and dairy, and for allergies.
- Barcode product details come from Open Food Facts and may be incomplete or wrong.
The service
- The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable.
- To the extent the law allows, CHIZZY LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app.
- We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
- If we ever shut the service down, we'll give advance notice so you can export your data.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
